Announcing our new charity of the year

We are delighted to announce that we have chosen Mityana Projects Trust as our official chosen charity for this forthcoming year.

We all know there are hundreds of worthy charities, and I’m sure that we each have a personal one that springs into mind. So picking our Elysian chosen charity was never going to be an easy task! However, in the end, we wanted to ensure that our nominated charity should have an affinity to either our local community or one of us and this years charity, certainly connects with that!

Elysian IT’s Project manager Jan Peterson has devoted much of her spare time to this great trust, in being a Trustee and Treasurer. The trust is based in North West Hampshire, roughly 14 miles from our offices, and with the continued support of the Whitchurch Deanery and other local schools, they have been supporting the Mityana Ugandan district since 2007.

So with our charity nominated, we’re busily drawing up a new programme of fundraising events and looking into how our old IT equipment can be rejuvenated for use in their education programs and the like.
